Tension as Angry Bees disrupts APC rally

A swarm of bees on Saturday reportedly disrupted a rally put together by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Northcentral Nigeria.

Voice air media reports that the APC had organised a road walk in Ihima, Okene to campaign for all candidates of the party from the area in respect of the 2023 general elections.

“Bees have disrupted our road walk in Okene, Kogi State,” Sahara Reporters quotes an APC member as saying.

In a piece of related news, the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Tinubu, has assured the people of Kogi State that they will get all their due when he is elected as President of Nigeria.

The former Lagos State governor sympathised with the government and people of Kogi over the recent flooding that ravaged the state and other parts of the country, assuring them that, as President, he would tackle the flood in the state.

Appreciating the large crowd that trooped into Lokoja from all over the state to demonstrate support for him and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, the 70-year-old promised that the voice and demands of Kogi people would be heard loud and clear, not only in the campaign council but also in his administration, if he wins the 2023 election.
