Breaking: NSCDC Seals Illegal Oil Dump In FCT

An illegal petroleum products dump in the Federal Capital Territory has been found and sealed by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

On Sunday, Olusola Odumosu, the NSCDC spokesperson, put this on the agency’s Facebook page and confirmed it.

The illicit oil dump was found and sealed, according to the post, by the Special Intelligence Squad of the Commandant General.

The post revealed that those uncovered include “over 54,000 liters of suspected vandalised, illegally refined and adulterated Automotive Gas Oil, one pumping machine, one generator, two surface tanks containing suspected adulterated and illegally refined AGO, two empty surface tanks, four empty trucks, one truck containing suspected vandalised, illegally refined and adulterated AGO, two drums of AGO, two different waybills, two different vehicle plates, one pump action, one dane-gun and six cartridges recovered.” CONTINUE READING………………………
