A man identified as Oladeji Saheed was rescued on Monday morning after he attempted suicide by jumping into the Osun River in Osogbo, Osun State.
The man has reportedly tried severally to commit suicide by jumping into the Osun River, finally succeeding on Monday around 7 am.
He was, however, rescued through the combined efforts of residents, the Federal Fire Service and O’Ambulance personnel.
Residents also revealed that the man lives without relatives along the bank of the Osun River.
He is currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed medical facility.
The attempted suicide comes days after another lady committed suicide by jumping from the Gbodofon bridge into the Osun River. CONTINUE READING…
