Osun Guber 2022: Supreme Court Decides Adeleke’s Fate

THE Supreme Court will on Thursday decide on the fate of Osun State Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke’s candidature of 2022.

VAM recalls that Prince Dotun Babayemi a former aspirant and now a dismissed member of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,Osun chapter is seeking court redress over the authentic candidate between him and Senator Adeleke.

Adeleke who was recognized authentic candidate by the PDP national working committee won the Osun July 16 governorship election against the incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola of APC.

But Prince Dotun Babayemi who was allegedly elected as the party’s flag bearer at a parallel congress is laying claim to be the authentic governorship candidate of Osun PDP.

Adeleke and PDP had defeated Prince Dotun Babayemi at the federal high court and appeal court.
