The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has explained why none of his village people in Ifewara, Osun State died of the COVID-19 virus despite their failure to wear a face mask.
Adeboye stated this yesterday during the ongoing 70th Annual Convention of the church.
He said that survival didn’t depend on how careful people are but on divine protection from above.
He said: “I think it was yesterday I was asking the workers, are you alive today because you took good care during the pandemic? Is that why you are still alive?
“I told them and said, throughout the period, I never saw a single fellow wearing a mask in my village, Ifewara, Osun State. I never saw one and I went home several times and you know what? Not a single one of them died. Who took care? God.
“Some of you have heard this before: when I was in the saddest period of my life (during the death of his son, Dare), with so many questions and I know that even in my deep sorrow, some people were still laughing at me, I got a text from one of my daughters.
“All she said was: ‘Daddy, let God carry you. And that put an end to any problem; it ended my sorrows. It renewed my faith. If you make yourself carriable, God will carry you.
“All you need to do is to surrender to the One who wants to carry you. If you want to carry a child and the child says no, then leave the child alone.” CONTINUE READING……….
