Glamour Girls (2022): Movie Review
Plot: Their life as luxury escorts offered these women glamour, money and a chance to reinvent themselves…until a murder and a robbery ruined everything.
Review: The movie is the remake of 1994 classic Glamour Girls. The movie took the direct-to-streaming route, premiering on Netflix on June 24, unsurprisingly to a unanimous call for the heads of its cast and crew.
Starring Sharon Ooja as Emma and Nse Ikpe-Etim as Donna, the remake narrates a long and tiresome high-end prostitutes doing what prostitutes do.
The cinematography was excellent, with the locations and camera movements carefully chosen.
There was also an outstanding performance from the cast, particularly Nse Ikpe-Etim. Despite being given an incoherent storyline, the actors gave their all to deliver an incredible performance.
FLOPS: The movie was far from the storyline also the sound quality was also another problematic aspect of the film. The audio was simply repulsive. It was saddled with a lot of background noise giving the impression that they recorded the film with a phone.
NOTE: The Producers shouldn’t have rush the movie as some Scenes were not explained and confusing.
