Federal Lawmaker Disgraced In Osun As School Rejects Classrooms He Built

A federal lawmaker under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Honorable Olubukola Oyewo has been disgraced by the Management of St Charles Grammar School, Osogbo by rejecting a block of classrooms built by the reps member.

Oyewo who is representing Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo federal constituency block of classrooms was rejected over alleged use of substandard materials.

The project according to reports was part of the 2021 zonal intervention projects of the federal lawmaker which up to your time of filing this report remained under lock and keys since its completion.

The school which is under the management of Catholic Church communicated their rejection of the project to the lawmaker as the keys are with one of his aides.

The surrounding of the building has become bushy and remained untidy.

Voice air media gathered that Hon. Oyewo is an alumnus of the school. The Management believes he should know their standard. They classrooms were poorly executed and all attempts to ensure he does something better proved abortive.” a source disclosed.

Reacting to this development when contacted by InsightMedia, the lawmaker said he can’t speak on it saying the implementing agency that executed the project is in best position for response.

“I think you should contact the implementing agency. I only facilitated the project. I don’t know the execution of it.” Oyewo, who is a construction contractor said.
