Gunmen make demand to release three abducted Pastors in Kogi

Unknown gunmen have demanded N80 million to release three kidnapped missionaries in Kogi State.

A family source disclosed this to Newsmen on Monday afternoon.

It was earlier reported that three missionaries working with the Kogi State Child Evangelism Fellowship, (CEF) were kidnapped at the weekend, along Ochadamu-Okele-Ejule Road, Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

It was gathered that the missionaries were on their way to minister at a three-day crusade when the kidnappers intercepted their vehicle and kidnapped them to an unknown location.

The Kogi State Police Command confirmed the kidnap of the three missionaries but said Policemen have been drafted to the area to secure the release of the victims.

Speaking on the latest development, a family source said they have contacted members of the family. They are demanding N80m. I don’t know how on earth the family will get such an amount of money. We are all praying to God for their safe return”.

The three kidnapped victims are Evangelist Peter Adigidzi, Pastor Mike Baba, and Pastor Sunday Abah.
