Some loyalists of the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has decamped from the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, and joined the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP).
It was gathered that former Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs in Osun State, Barr Kolapo Alimi led other loyalists of Aregbesola to join the PDP.
Alimi has also been appointed as the Deputy Director General of Senator Ademola Adeleke campaign organization.
A member of the Osun Progressives, TOP, a group loyal to Aregbesola under the leadership of Elder Lowo Adebiyi who craved anonymity confirmed the incident to our correspondent in a telephone interview.
Alimi has also taken to his Facebook page and posted a statement ‘Imole De Okunkun Parada’, which symbolises his support for PDP. CONTINUE READING…
