Ex-agitator urges Buhari to extend appointment of Amnesty Boss Dikio, gives reason

The Urhobo national youth leader, Gen Peter aghogho k. has urged Mr President, Muhammadu Buhari to extend the appointment of the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Col. Milland Dixon Dikio (Rtd) for another term.

He made this call to tell the fact that Col. Milland Dixon Dikio (Rtd) aspirations and plan have enabled the Programme to sail through and depletes its ugly past and bringing it to limelight as expected and hopeful to do more when reappointed.

To him, Dikio is a man with proven record of service and character, noting that his imprints of good work and level ground for members and stakeholders of the Programme have helped to achieve greatly, aims and objectives of the Programme towards members and the Niger Delta region.

Gen Peter also said that with more opportunity, Col. Milland Dixon Dikio (Rtd) will be able to complete his intended plan of action for a meaningful development of the region and its people.

“I’m calling on Mr President, Muhammadu Buhari to extend the appointment of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP Boss, Col. Milland Dixon Dikio (Rtd) haven considered the fact that he has done well in his commitment.

“His leadership is on cause and people’s centred. We are sure he will do better with another opportunity through extension of his appointment as the Interim Administrator of the PAP as his service to members and other stakeholders of the Programme as well as the region is satisfactory”, he said.
