Kwara: Lai Muhammed allegedly fields son for Assembly in SDP, as Lagos APC rejects son

The representative for Ikeja 1 State Constituency of Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Folajimi Lai Muhammed, was on Monday booed by members of the All Progressives Congress APC in Lagos State.

Many of the party faithfuls who shouted ” Ole,” soon started booing and making different sounds to show their disapproval for Folajimi’s re-election bid as he arrived at the party secretariat with his convoy.

A video of the incident seen by our correspondent, shows how the crowd increased the tempo of the booing and noise as his convoy made spirited efforts to prevent the confrontation.

With this development, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed who is one of the major financial backbone of SDP has allegedly directed his son to contest on the platform of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Kwara State to represent Irepodun Local Government at the State’s House of Assembly.
