The Students of The federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun state, have on Friday 6th May 2022 elected new students’ union executives for the 2021/2022 academic session.
Voiceairmedia correspondent gathered that the election was conducted through an online poll by independent Students Electoral committee (ISUEC).
Comrade Adex who polled 538 votes was declared as winner and president elect of the students union having defeated his closet rival kaybrght who polled 357 votes and Edward who polled 72 votes.
Oklex, Lady Tokyo and Feyi all won the race for the post of Sport Director, Treasurer and Welfare Director unopposed with a total cast votes of 856, 860 and 908 respectively.
In another category, Lagafy and Layomie were elected as Financial Secretary and Assistant Secretary with vote counts of 921 and 846.
Dotman aggregated 532 votes to win the office of the Public Relations Officer over his counterpart, Don Richie whose 423 votes came short in the tie.
Omojo Boi accumulated 520 votes to defeat his opponent, Lil Smile, 436 as he won the race for the Social Director.
Faraday earned a total of 441 votes, but came up short after his opponent Chrysolite accrued a vote count of 511 for the office of the General Secretary.
The winner of the Vice President position turns out to be Sully Bobby whose 543 votes outnumbered Beauty’s 422 votes.
