The examination is what determines the entry of young school leavers into higher education levels.

This year, JAMB recorded an aggregate of 1 8million candidates for the exam.

Here are some of the things you need to about the UTME for 2022 batch.

The exam is a computer based test for those who seek entry into tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

It will be held in all stated of the federation and the federal capital territory

Candidates are to note that no examination would be rescheduled for whatsoever reason

The examination will soon between Friday May 6th through Saturday May 14 2022

Candidates are advised to reprint their slips from April 30th.
The reprinting of the slip can be done anywhere. Candidates are to go to the examination centre with at least a copy of the slip.

Know your centre. JAMB advised candidates to visit their centres before the said date of the examination as to be familiar with their centres.

Electronic gadgets are barred from examination halls and premises.
This is in order to curb examination malpractice. Examples of such devices are mobile phones, watches, pen, CDs, USB, hard disk and other storage devices, camera, recorders, Bluetooth, microphone, keyholders, ATM cards, handkerchief, money, face towels, ear pieces, smart lens, smart jewellery, smart buttons etc.

JAMB would not allow any other means of verification of candidates apart from the biometric data capturing, which the examination body has stated as the only valid means of identification and attendance register.

JAMB advised the candidates whose capturing whose capturing are unsuccessful to return home without delay.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, some Nigerians have criticized the examination that it has no meaning and impact at this time of the year when other undergraduates are at hime because of the ASUU strike.

Good luck and success to all those writing the exams
