Drama As Armed Robbers Forget Phones, Tricycle, Others During Operation

Suspected armed robbers have reportedly left their mobile phones and tricycles at the residence of a victim, Bishop Tina Ebireri after they attacked and robbed of her own mobile phone in Delta State.

The incident occurred at Agbarho Community in Ughelli North Local Government Area.

It was learnt that the suspected armed robbers trailed the female cleric from her church at Ebrumede roundabout in Uvwie Local Government Area to the entrance of her compound on the fateful day.

They demanded her mobile phone, shot and wounded her.

After the attacks, they left their mobile phone and their tricycle behind.

The mobile phone belonging to the suspected armed robbers was promptly recovered by the Police in Agbarho Community.

The Director-General of the Conference for the Actualization of Human Rights, CAHR, Omes Ogedegbe Esq who disclosed the incident on his Facebook timeline said it occurred on April 9, at about 6:30 pm.

He said, “It is sickening at this point that the Police of Agbarho Division is yet to make any major arrest.

“This is a demand on the Commissioner of Police to immediately direct his Agbarho DPO to commence action without delay.”
