2023 Presidential Race: Peter Obi Speaks After Tinubu Disowns Osinbajo

Presidential aspirant and former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi has reacted to APC’s chieftain, Bola Tinubu disowning Osinbajo after the vice-president announced his 2023 presidential intention.
Recall that Tinubu had disowned Osinbajo when he was asked by journalists what he thought of his son declaring.

He replied, “ I don’t have any son grown enough to make such declaration” When asked during an interview on Arise TV his opinion of Tinubu’s reaction, the politician stated that Nigerians should be more concerned about the kidnapping and its implications on the economic development of Nigeria.

He said: “Nigerians should now be concerned about the issues. This is not time for who is here or there; who is son or who is father. The thing is, we have a problem. People are not being kidnapped as one, two now, they are packing families. That should bother us.”

Meanwhile, the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday said Yemi Osinbajo never informed the party leadership before moving his membership to his home state. Recall vice president, Yemi Osinbajo dumped the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for his home state.

The Vice President spokesman, Laolu Akande made the confirmation, announcing that Osinbajo moved his membership to Ogun State when he revalidated his APC membership status in Ward One, Ikenne, Ogun State on 9th February 2021. CONTINUE READING…
