governorship aspirant on platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 general election, Mr Joseph Tegbe has concluded plans to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Tegbe’s decision is informed by the promise of getting the PDP ticket for the Oyo Central Senatorial district for the 2023 general election.
In the past days, stalwarts of the Oyo PDP had mounted pressure on Tegbe to dump the APC for the PDP, promising him the party’s senatorial ticket.
Tegbe’s media aide, Adelabu Adeola confirmed his principal’s decision to the Nigerian Tribune, adding that a formal statement on the development is set to be issued.
