The national working committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has adjusted its schedule of activities ahead of the 2023 general election.
Debo Ologunagba, PDP spokesperson, gave the breakdown of the updated timetable in a statement on Thursday.
In the adjusted timetable, the opposition party extended the deadline for the purchase as well as the submission of expression of interest and nomination forms.
In the old timetable, April 6-15 was the deadline for the submission of expression of interest and nomination forms for state house of assembly, house of representatives and senate, governorship and presidential seats respectively.
In the updated timetable, the PDP spokesperson said “the last day for the purchase of all forms has been extended to Thursday, April 14, 2022, while the last day for the submission of all forms has been extended to April 17, 2022”.
He said the screening of aspirants for the state house of assembly, national assembly, governorship and presidential seats will take place on April 19, 20, 21 and 25, respectively.
Screening appeals for state house of assembly, national assembly, governorship and presidential seats will now take place on April 21, 22, 26 and 27, accordingly.
