Following the nomination of Prince Kola Adewsusi as running mate to Osun PDP gubernatorial candidate, Sen. Ademola N. Jackson Adeleke, the Ife PDP stakeholders and elders have shown their appreciation to the party.
In a letter written to the party, a copy which was obtained by VAM NEWS, the stakeholders and elders of the party in Ife federal constituency said, “We, the stakeholders of Ife Federal Constituency (Ife East, Ife East Area Office, Ife Central, Ife North, Ife South Local Governments) use this medium to appreciate and thank members of the State Executive of our party for nomination and confirmation of our leader, Hon. Prince Kola Adewusi as running of Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke, the flag bearer of PDP in the July 16th, 2022 governorship election in Osun state.
The local government party chairmen and party leaders in the federal constituency also thank the State Working Committee for their effort in bringing this to reality.
They said, “Hon. Prince Kola Adewusi’s choice as Deputy Governor Designate is a round peg in a round hole.”
“His character, comportment and antecedent as a person that have been tested and trusted during his tenure as chairman Ife East Local Government and thereafter as the Special Adviser to former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola is evidence to show that Hon. Prince Kola Adewusi will be a loyal, submissive and perfect match.”
Kola Adewusi is a prince from Ile-Ife, a graduate of Banking and finance from the Ibadan Polytechnic. He rose to the position of General Manager at Obasanjo Holdings Nigeria Ltd. A former council boss, Special adviser on micro credit to former governor Oyinlola, a former auditor, also former secretary of the party.
