Defection from APC party occurred in Imo

A former commissioner in Imo state, Fabian Ihekweme, was among the scores of people who dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

 

 

A former Chairman of the PDP, in the state, Charles Ezekwem, also abandoned the APC and returned to the PDP, with hundreds of his supporters.

 

 

The defections took place Wednesday at the Kanu Nwankwo Stadium in Owerri, during the reception organised by the PDP for the National Secretary, Senator Sam Anyanwu and the National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
