Niger Delta Ex- Agitator Hails Dikio For Amnesty Project, Calls on President Buhari to Appoint Him As Substantive Coordinator Of Amnesty Program

….Remind Amnesty Boss To Keep To His Promise Of Rebranding The Presidential Amnesty Program.

An ex-millitant leader of the 3rd phase and also the Immediate past Councillor of ward 18 Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Mere Williams, has hailed and commended the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP) Col. Dixon Dikio (rtd) on the developmental stride recorded so far as Interim Administrator in the short period of time.

Hon. Mere Williams who spoke shortly after the awareness and Sensitization program organised by Strategy communication committee powered by Amnesty boss in Delta State on Thursday, 27th January, hailed and commended Col. Dixon Dikio for implementing the Amnesty project in organising the Program for the Niger Delta Youths.

In his word, he noted that, the Amnesty boss has shown capacity in a short period of time, advising Niger Delta Youths on the need to invest in peace, shun violence and make Niger Delta to be free of insecurity is first of it’s kind.

Hon Mere reminded Col. Dikio of his promise to rebrand the Niger Delta Amnesty program to Niger Delta stabilization program. He urged him to be courageous on the course for nothing good comes easy, he said.

“I am using this medium, to call on His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency Appoint Col. Dixon Dikio as the Substantial boss of the Presidentail Amnesty Program (PAP). With him in the drivers seat, we are sure that the Presidential Amnesty Program will fulfil all it was created for.”

“The truth is, we have being praying to have the likes of Dikio to pilot the affairs of the Niger Delta Amnesty Program, we need people like him to handle a complex region like that of the Niger Delta region.”

“We are experiencing a better Presidential Amnesty Program under the leadership of Dikio, a case study is the take off of the ongoing training of Niger Delta youths in Bradama in Ondo state, and the ongoing students deployment and many more, a Commendable gesture that needs applauds. He call on all ex a agitators avoid violence, thuggery and coorperate with the Interim administrator, collectively we can achieved a better peace,” He noted.
