Olaiya Flyover: Traffic Movement Guidelines At Olaiya Intersection, Osogbo Released (See Here)

TRAFFIC MOVEMENT GUIDELINES AT OLAIYA INTERSECTION, OSOGBO

The construction of the Olaiya Overhead Bridge (Flyover) by the Government of the State of Osun will soon be completed. The Flyover will be opened to traffic for the use of the general public.

For free flow of Traffic, the general public, particularly the motoring public, is hereby advised to abide by and maintain lane discipline, drive cautiously, avoid driving in a direction prohibited by Traffic Law, take necessary precautions and make use of guidelines and directional routes as follows:

A. ABEERE / OGO-OLUWA / AREGBE / FAKUNLE AXIS:

1. Inbound motorists from Abeere / Ogo-Oluwa / Fakunle heading towards MDS / Old Garage axis are to make use of the Overhead Bridge ONLY and continue with their journey.

2. Inbound motorists from Abeere / Ogo-Oluwa / Fakunle heading towards Odi-Olowo / Jaleoyemi axis are to make use of the slip road (free on red) and continue with their journey.

3. Inbound motorists from Abeere / Ogo-Oluwa / Fakunle heading towards Alekuwodo / Okefia axis are to obey the Traffic signal light, make use of the Underpass (under the Bridge) and continue with their journey.

4. Inbound motorists from Abeere / Ogo-Oluwa / Fakunle making U-turn back to Fakunle / Ogo-Oluwa / Abeere axis are to make use of the Underpass (under the Bridge), make U-Turn and continue with their journey.

B. OLD GARAGE / MDS AXIS:

1. Inbound motorists from Old Garage / MDS Axis heading towards Fakunle / Aregbe / Ogo-Oluwa / Abeere axis are to make use of the Overhead Bridge ONLY and continue with their journey.

2. Inbound motorists from Old Garage / MDS Axis heading towards Alekuwodo / Okefia axis are to make use of the slip road (free on red) and continue with their journey.

3. Inbound motorists from Old Garage / MDS Axis heading towards Odi-Olowo / Jaleoyemi axis are to obey the Traffic signal light, make use of the Underpass (under the Bridge) and continue with their journey.

4. Inbound Motorists from Old Garage / MDS Axis making U-turn back to MDS / Old Garage axis are to use of the Underpass (under the Bridge), make U-Turn and continue with their journey.

C. OKEFIA / ALEKUWODO AXIS:
1. Inbound Motorists from Okefia / Alekuwodo Axis heading towards Odi-Olowo / Jaleoyemi axis are to obey Traffic signal light, make use of the Underpass (under the Bridge) and continue with their journey.

2. Inbound Motorists from Okefia / Alekuwodo Axis heading towards Fakunle / Aregbe / Ogo-Oluwa / Abeere axis are to make use of the slip road (free on red) and continue with their journey.

3. Inbound motorists from Okefia / Alekuwodo Axis heading towards MDS / Old Garage axis are to obey the Traffic signal light, make use of the Underpass (under the Bridge) and continue with their journey.

4. Inbound Motorists from Okefia / Alekuwodo Axis making U-turn back to Alekuwodo / Okefia axis are to obey the Traffic light and continue with their journey.

D. JALEOYEMI / ODI-OLOWO AXIS:
1. Inbound Motorists from Jaleyemi / Odi-Olowo Axis heading towards Alekuwodo / Okefia axis are to obey Traffic signal light, make use of the Underpass (under the Bridge) and continue with their journey.

2. Inbound Motorists from Jaleyemi / Odi-Olowo Axis heading towards MDS / Old-Garage axis are to make use of the slip road (free on red) and continue with their journey.

3. Inbound motorists from Jaleyemi / Odi-Olowo Axis heading towards Fakunle / Aregbe / Ogo-Oluwa / Abeere axis are to obey the Traffic signal light, make use of the Underpass (under the Bridge) and continue with their journey.

4. Inbound motorists from Jaleyemi / Odi-Olowo Axis making U-turn back to Jaleyemi / Odi-Olowo Axis are to obey the Traffic signal light, make U-Turn and continue with their journey.

We therefore seek the cooperation and understanding of the motoring and general public to obey all traffic regulations and traffic control personnel as you adjust and get used to the new expressway and road configuration.
