Popular Nollywood Actress, Iyabo Oko Is Dead

Veteran Nollywood actress, Sidikat Odukanwi, popularly known as Iyabo Oko, is dead.

Her death was confirmed by another popular Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola-Salako, and her daughter, Bisi Aisha.

According to available information, Odukanwi, 61, who had been battling ischaemic stroke for about five years, died on Wednesday evening.

Daramola-Salako wrote on her Instagram page: “And finally we lost her.. rip Iyabo Oko, we did our best but God knows best.”

Aisha, a female soldier, equally wrote: “May ur soul Rest In Peace mummy.”

Odukanwi was born on November 15, 1960 in Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State.

Apart from Iyabo Oko, she was also frequently referred to Apoti Aje and Sisi Mama.
