Armed thugs invaded the Zamfara State office of an online newspaper/TV station in Gusau on Monday night in an attempt to teach one of the workers, Abdul Balarabe, a terrible lesson.
In a statement released by the station, Thunder Blowers media, it revealed that “the hoodlums said they were sent after one of our staff, but being absent, they chose to pound on the available staff instead, injuring Mansur Rabe, a multimedia editor, while destroying some of our working equipment.”
The statement further disclosed that “the thugs went away with Rabe’s phone and a laptop computer belonging to another staff, identified as Sulaiman Dan Aljanna.”
However, Thunder Blower said they have no idea who could have sent the hoodlums on such a mission.
As of the time of filing the report, the spokesman of the Zamfara State Police Command, Mohammed Shehu could not be reached for comment.
