The Executive Committee of the Nigerian Football Federation has made a budget proposal of N13,089,022,180 for the year 2022.
This was made known in a statement by the Communications Department of the NFF on Wednesday.
“The Executive Committee approved the Financial Statement of the Federation for the year 2021, as well as the proposed Budget of the sum of N13,089,022,180.00 for the year 2022,” the NFF said in a statement titled ‘Communique of the meeting of the NFF Executive Community held via video conference on Wednesday December 29.’
The Executive Committee, who also approved the financial statement of the federation for 2021, endorsed the proposal for the appointment of Portuguese Jose Peseiro as the new coach of the Super Eagles, following the termination of the relationship with erstwhile coach Gernot Rohr.
