A mother of five children was reportedly beheaded in a farmland in Igbide community, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State by unidentified assailants.
According to Vanguard, sources said the deceased, identified as Oghale, was working in the farmland behind Ovwodokpokpor-Igbide Secondary School with her husband when they were ambushed and attacked by the assailants.
“The husband escaped after he was shot on one of his hands”, a source said, saying the killers made away with the woman’s head and abandoned her body in the bush.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident.
