Mary Akande: Wife Surprises Husband, Celebrates Their Wedding Anniversary In Style In Osun

A Nigerian couple, Mrs Adeola Mary Akande and Mr Olumide Akande, celebrated their wedding anniversary in Ede, Osun state, today December 14th.

The surprise beautiful celebration of love was planned and organized by Mrs Adeola Mary Akande for her husband Mr Akande, which witnessed the presence of men of timber and calibre who gathered in their residence at Ede country home to celebrate with them.

Also, in attendance were senior lecturers from the Federal Polytechnic Ede, APC stalwarts, PDP stalwarts, and well wishers.

The husband, Olumide Akande wasn’t aware of the whole arrangement as he was stylishly invited to come home for his lunch, on getting home, he met his friends, wife’s friends and other well wishers already celebrating with them.

In their various goodwill messages, encomiums were showered at the couples for their love life, workaholic in nature and compatibility.

Architect Olufemi Egbedeyi, while admonishing the couples, said they should continue in their way of life, “I want to admonish that you should continue tolerating one another. Don’t allow outsiders to destroy your home. I pray for you that you will leave together till old age.”

In their remarks, Adeyemo Adebayo and Ayegbayo Opeyemi said the couples are worthy of emulation to others.

Their way of life is very unique and the wife has been a supportive one. They prayed that God will continue to uphold the union.”

In his message to the couples, Hon. Fajobi Olasanjo admonishes them to always helping one another as they have been doing. He sighted an example where Mr Akande lost his phone and the first thing to do was to transfer from his account to that of his wife to avoid the account being hacked by criminals. He said this alone really shocked him that a man can move money from his account to that of his wife, he said this to him deserves applaud and he prayed that they will both live long in sound health.

On his part, the husband said: Every day, and especially on this day of our anniversary, I wake up and remember a few important things. My life has been blessed, and I know that God is really on my side. The reason I am so sure is that He gave me you – the most amazing and wonderful human being ever.

And it is hard to describe how happy I feel when I think about you as my partner of a lifetime. I will forever be grateful to God for sending me you. I know we will have so much more amazing time together! Happy anniversary, sweetheart! I LOVE YOU!, Mr Akande said.

Today, I celebrate my husband, my man, my crown and father of my children whose patience, love and kindness has fuelled this union. I love you today and love you always my King’, the wife, Mrs Adeola Mary Akande told newsmen.

Joining the couples in the celebration mood are Dr Abiodun Ulabor, MC kuti and publisher of Docpetinfo News, Oluwaseyi Adeniyi. It was a moment of full of merriments.
