Breaking: Another Jailbreak As Jos Correctional Centre under heavy gunmen attack

Reports reaching VAM News indicates that Jos Correctional facility is currently under heavy attack by suspected bandits.

There is sporadic shooting everywhere going on right now.

Military Information Officer for Operation Safe Haven, Major Ishaku confirmed the attack to Channels Television on Sunday evening.

He disclosed that personnel of the joint task force are currently at the facility to curtail the attackers.

The Jos Correctional Centre is situated in the heart of Jos City which is not far from the police headquarters.

Security operatives from the Police Division A are expected to join in repelling the attack as they are also situated very close to the centre.

VAM News could not ascertain if any inmate escaped from custody.
