Jigawa University Bans Night Visits To Female Hostels, Tinted Vehicles

The Federal University of Dutse (FUD) has prohibited night visits to female hostels as well as the entry of any tinted automobiles.

Prof. Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed, the university’s Vice-Chancellor, told reporters about it.

He made the decision following a night sweep of the school, he claimed.

He stated that the university had tinted automobiles impounded at the girls’ hostel because their suspected actions with the students were in violation of the institution’s norms and regulations.

Female students whose conduct were deemed wanting during the night patrol have been reported to their parents, according to Professor Abdulkarim Sabo.

“All the students are in the university to study and as their guardian, we would not allow anybody to compromise their moral values,” he said.

“The university will not tolerate night visitation of the female hostel, tinted cars in the daytime and most importantly at night.”

He warned that anybody caught henceforth will be prosecuted.
