10 persons were Friday evening injured in a ghastly accident which occurred along the Gbongan-Ife road.
The lone accident which involved a blue coloured Toyota Previa with registration number BDG326BW occurred close to the Adebisi Akande Trumpet Bridge.
The remote cause of the accident according to the Spokesperson of the Osun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Agnes Ogungbemi, was dangerous driving and speed violation on the part of the driver of the bus.
No passenger was killed and all the 10 injured passengers; two adult males, five adult females and three male children were safely taken to a private hospital in Ipetumodu town for treatment.
Ogungbemi In a chat with DAILY POST advised drivers against driving above the stipulated speed limit of 100 kilometers per hour.
She also cautioned drivers, especially commercial transporters to always consider the safety of their passengers whenever they are on the wheels, adding that it is only drivers who get to their destination safely that would be able to embark on another journey.
