PDP Members Defect Party, Join APC In Osun

 

 

 

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State welcomed some members from the leading opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at Ile-Ogbo in Ayedire Local Government Council Area of the state during the weekend.

 

The PDP defectors who were welcomed by the state APC caretaker chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun, during the inauguration of Oyetola Solidarity Forum (OSF), in the local government area, commended their courage for identifying with the winning party.

 

 

Famodun told the defectors that they would not be discriminated against and tasked them to join the existing team in the APC in order to ensure the reelection of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

In his words: “I am assuring you that the joy and happiness that you are witnessing that prompted you to join this our great party shall be permanent in Jesus Name.”

 

 

Famodun assured the decamped members of the PDP that they will not regret joining the APC.

 

 

“You are not making a mistake by joining our party. In fact, this is where God is. Is it the party that was voted out over ten years ago that will know how to take care of you? You are in a safe hand,” he said.
