Tears, Joy As 15 Abducted Bethel Baptist Students In Kaduna Regain Freedom

No fewer than 15 abducted students of the Bethel Baptist High School have been released by their abductors.

Their release was confirmed by the chairman of the Kaduna State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. John Hayab.

He said that the 15 students were released on Saturday night by the bandits.

The bandits had stormed the school located along the Kaduna-Kachia highway, Damishi, in Chikun Local Government Area of the state on July 5, 2021, and abducted at least 121 students.

Twenty-eight of the students were released on July 25, after N50m ransom was paid.
