Pandemonium at Osun APC secretariat as Oyetola’s loyalist soaked in his blood

Demonstration at the State Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress in Osogbo on Saturday morning turned bloody as suspected political thugs attacked members of the party.

A man identified as Muyideen Ajetunmobi who puts on a cap with inscription of “Oyetola 4+4” was attacked by thugs who allegedly followed the secretary of the party, Rasaq Salinsile.

Recalled that members of The Osun Progressives stormed the party secretariat as early as 8am to submit petitions to the appeal committee on ward Congresses held two weeks ago across the State.

Ajetunmobi, a resident of Osogbo local government, told our correspondent that he was attacked by thugs who insisted that he removes his cap. He said the incident happened at the party secretariat.

“It is true. I was attacked at the party secretariat by TOP members who insisted that I should remove my cap. They all followed party secretary Alhaji Salinsile enter the secretariat.”

When asked if he was there before TOP or he met them at the secretariat, Ajetunmobi said, “I was there before them. I was with my Honourable when they came and they said no one should put on Oyetola’s cap that I should remove it. That’s when the started attack me and injured me on my head.”

However, a member of TOP, Kazeem Olanrewaju said the attack was launched on them by IleriOluwa group. He said the man that was injured hit his head on while he was running out of the compound.

He said, “that man led the attack on the Party secretary and he was repelled,that’s how he hit his head on the gate while running out of the compound. No one attacked him. They are the ones that sent thugs to us.”
