The Appeal Committee on Wards Congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has stated that it has received 32 petitions from 10 local governments in the State.
Stating this during a press conference at the party secretariat in Osogbo on Friday, the Chairman of the Appeal Committee, Ambassador Obed Wadzani disclosed that the committee would attend to the petitions that came up after the ward congress in the State.
Wadzani stated that the exercise is a family affair, adding that the committee’s duty is only limited to the just concluded ward congress.
The Committee Chairman explained that the committee would start sitting by 9 am Saturday at the Party’s secretariat.
He revealed that there was still grace for any member of the party to submit petitions but that if not submitted before the time allotted, such petitions would not be entertained.
Local governments and wards from which petitions were submitted include:
Ifedayo Local Government.
Wards 1,7,9.
Ife Central Local Government.
Wards 3,9,10.
Boripe Local Government.
Wards 7, 10, 11.
Ede North Local Government.
Wards 2,3,6.
Odo-Otin Local Government.
Wards 2,7,12.
Ejigbo Local Government.
Wards 3,6,7.
Isokan Local Government.
Wards 1,8,9.
Irewole Local Government.
Wards 2,5,8.
Atakumosa Local Government.
Wards 1,3,8.
Osogbo Local Government.
Wards 1,4,13.
