“People Don’t Like My Face” – Babangida Breaks Silence On Why He Became A Mirage In Nigeria Political Affairs

 

 

 

Nigeria’s Former President Ibrahim Babangida has opened up on the reason behind his non relevancy in the country’s political affairs in the recent time.

 

 

Babangida was asked why he remains silence and seems unconcerned about the Nigeria’s body polity during an interview with Arise tv.

 

 

“People don’t like my face”, he simply replied.

 

 

He also talked about how Maradona that Nigerians used to call him comes up, he pointed that the name was given to him by the media, that he has never for once called himself such a name.

 

 

He appreciated Nigerians and affirmed that Nigerians are highly creative and industrious.

 

 

Babangida portrayed some degrees of diplomacy in the interview as he avoided judging anybody about the present Nigeria’s plight and exhibited his support for restructuring of the country.
