The convener of Concerned Nigerian advocacy group, Deji Adeyanju said the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu would be worse than President Muhammadu Buhari, if elected as president of Nigeria come 2023.
The Abuja-based human rights activist stated this while reacting to reports that Lagos Transport Union thugs popularly known as “Agberos” make whooping N123 billion from commercial drivers, motorcyclists and tricyclists every year.
VAM News had reported that the International Center for Investigative Reporting (ICIR) in a report titled: ‘Transport Statistics and Annual Revenue Paid to Agebros In Lagos’, revealed that the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) makes N123.078 billion from rates, fees, tolls and other forms of tax levied on transport collected basically around motor parks from the state.
Adeyanju said Tinubu runs Lagos State like a pig farm, warning that he would destroy Nigeria if elected President in 2023.
The Kogi state indigene gave this warning via his official Twitter handle.
He wrote: “Tinubu will be a worse tyrant than Buhari. Look at how he runs Lagos State like a pig farm. Removed a Governor like a Council Chairman.
“He pays hoodlums a.k.a Agberos N125billion annually. That’s more than money most states get in a year.”
