The State of Osun House of Assembly is set to announce names of local government caretaker committees in all the 68 local governments and local community development areas (LCDAs) in the state.
It was gathered that Governor Adegboyega Oyetola had forwarded the list of the nominees for the caretaker management committees to the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, for approval by the Parliament.
According to reports, the compiled list of the caretaker committee has been received by the Speaker and it will be read at plenary today.
Recall that the Council Managers took over the local governments and LCDAs on Monday, February 8th this year, following the expiration of the tenure of elected parliamentarians on February 5.
