Sadiya Umar Farouq, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development, made the announcement after a meeting with Governor Bala Mohammed.
The employees have received engagement letters and tablets for data capture and daily reports.
“The ministry sees a real-time report of activities of the independent monitors on the field”, Farouq said.
The minister told them to be diligent while keeping track of the various NSIPs in the state.
Each employee will earn N30,000 per month for one year and must meet 80 percent of their deliverables monthly to be eligible for payment.
The NSIPs to be monitored are Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme, N-Power, Conditional Cash Transfer, and National Home Grown School Feeding Programme.
